Flat monochrome logos have become a buzzword in the auto industry. Following LADA, Nissan, Renault, Peugeot, Volkswagen and other brands, the Swedish brand Volvo, which has long been famous for its conservatism and has remained faithful to its style for 90 years, also switched to the two-dimensional emblem.
The style has not changed even now, but the logo itself has been simplified to the limit. For the first time in history, the center plate has disappeared from it, so the inscription "Volvo" now literally hangs in the air, and the round rim has become thinner and turned black.
