The first pictures of the updated crossover Mazda CX-5 appeared

 

Mazda is preparing to debut an updated version of the Mazda CX-5 crossover. The timing of the appearance of the novelty in Russia is still unknown, but the exterior of the SUV has already been revealed: photos of the restyled CX-5 without camouflage were published by the Chinese Ministry of Industry.

As can be judged from the pictures, with the update, the Mazda CX-5 will retain all the main features of the current model, differing from it only by bumpers (rear - with exhaust pipes spaced on the sides), headlights and lanterns with a different "filling" and a radiator grill, which will receive a different drawing and a more massive frame. In the cabin, according to rumors, all changes will be limited to a larger display of the media system.

Technically, as noted by ProCrossovers , the model will not change. At least in China, the restyled CX-5 will be offered with the same 2.0 and 2.5-liter gasoline "aspirated" engines, producing 155 and 196 horsepower, respectively. A pair of them, as before, will be an uncontested six-speed "automatic", and the drive in different configurations will be either front or full.

The premiere of the updated Mazda CX-5 may take place this year. In the meantime, a pre-styling crossover is being sold in Russia, which remains the brand's bestseller in our market and costs at least 1,846,000 rubles.
