BMW has published the first photo of the new 510-horsepower M3 Touring station wagon

For the first time, the "charged" BMW M3 will receive a five-door station wagon version. It will debut in 2022 and will enter the market under the already familiar name M3 Touring - in 2022 that was the name of the prototype of the E46 series, which never made it into production.

Except for the body shape, the design of the BMW M3 Touring will be completely identical to the donor M3 sedan - both will receive exactly the same headlights, lights, and, possibly, bumpers and, of course, the interior.

echnically, the "five-door", most likely, is also unified with the sedan presented in Europe with a 3.0-liter inline "biturbo-six", which in the basic version with "mechanics" produces 480 horsepower, and in the Competition version with "automatic" - on 30 more "horses". At the same time, the "simple" M3 comes only with rear-wheel drive, while the M3 Competition can be equipped with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive M xDrive.

The premiere of the sports station wagon BMW M3 Touring should take place early next year. It is not yet known whether he will come to Russia, but it is already clear that in the market he will have to compete with both the Audi RS 4 Avant and the new Mercedes-AMG C63 hybrid station wagon, which will also be released in the near future.
