Well, very cool "ereska"!

Well, very cool "ereska"! Audi dealer brought the first electric RS e-tron GT to Minsk

Such cars have not yet been brought to Belarus. Meet: the main electric novelty of the Audi concern - RS e-tron GT. The four-door coupe combines emotional design with powerful drive, dynamic handling and a long range. For obvious reasons, we were not allowed to ride on a unique “kupeshka”: the car is rare, and so far in a single copy.

But the managers of the auto center actively shared data on the technical characteristics, the number and cost of "special stages". For a second: only the package of additional equipment in this instance pulled 41,799 euros!

So, before us is a "charged" version of the RS e-tron GT - the first electric car of the RS series in the history of Audi. At the front, it has a standard 435 hp electric motor for the e-tron GT. With. The rear already produces 456 forces with a total return of 598 hp. With. and 830 Nm!

The 86kWh (total 93kWh) battery consists of 396 battery pack cells and operates at 800V, supports up to 270kW of charging power and provides a WLTP range of over 488km. Fast charging is also available, allowing you to replenish a range of 100 km in 5 minutes and fully recharge the battery in 25 minutes.

The four-door coupe is 4.99 meters long, 1.96 meters wide and just 1.41 meters high. This is made possible by recesses in the high-voltage battery: front passengers can put their feet in them, which allows them to sit low, but in a comfortable position. With 405 liters of luggage space in the rear, the RS model with standard Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound offers 350 liters of space. The storage compartment under the hood provides another 81 liters.

Much of the bodywork is made from heavy-duty steel and aluminum, while the roof is glass (standard) and carbon-fiber-reinforced lightweight polymer as an option.

It is noteworthy that in an era dominated by sensors and screens, the e-tron GT cabin has noticeably more physical buttons. Yes, the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is still in front of your eyes, and the 10.1-inch multimedia display occupies the central place on the panel. But climate control is controlled by pressing physical buttons. Curtsey towards retrogrades? Togo and look, the version of the R8 with the classic “mechanics” will be returned to service.

The controlled three-chamber adaptive air suspension with a multi-plate clutch integrated (in the RS version) in the differential and the Audi drive select system provide excellent ride comfort and a wide range of handling. The brake discs are coated with tungsten carbide, further enhancing their already good performance. All three features are available as an option for the e-tron GT quattro.

Among other features of the novelty are active aerodynamic elements, which make it possible to achieve an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.24.

Both the regular and RS versions can be upgraded with optional 21-inch carbon-ceramic brakes and a fully steerable chassis that allows the rear wheels to steer independently of the front wheels, improving the car's agility and stability.

As an option, adaptive cruise control, remote-controlled automatic parking system, matrix LED optics, laser phosphor high beam (turns on at speeds over 70 km / h), Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium Sound System and a voice acting system that gives the car a synthesized sports exhaust, similar to the exhaust of cars with internal combustion engines.

True, the last option only works in motion. That is, for example, it is unlikely that it will be possible to intimidate the guys on a daring “beshechka” at the crossroads with a bass roar. But to force to swallow the dust - quite! With the activated launch control, the power of the "ereska" briefly (for 2.5 seconds) increases to 646 hp. With. And up to 100 km / h you fly away in 3.3 seconds, while the maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h.

It is important to note that the e-tron GT was the first German-made Audi electric car: it is produced at the Böllinger Höfe plant in Neckarsulm along with the R8 sports cars (with the very monstrous V10). The price of the car in the basic configuration is 137,900 euros.

The cost of the copy exhibited in the salon of the dealer is 161,820 euros. Eh, all that remains is to work and dream quietly: perhaps in the spring, journalists will be allowed to walk the RS version and enjoy pure power and energy.
